Following extensive fire damage throughout the building, we undertook works to bring this much loved pub with rooms back to life.
Works included the removal of existing damaged structural beams and associated timber joists, the supply and installation of new partial replacement floor structures, not to mention specialist future fire prevention works. The team has worked extremely hard to bring this unique building back to life, with the installation of a new commercial kitchen, refurbishment works to bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as specialist stone cleaning. Although new elements and structures have been added, the aim was to ensure George & Dragon kept its unique charm.
