The project brief was to erect a single storey extension over an existing double garage, to create a first-floor lounge and sun room with a link to the existing accommodation of a former school building located adjacent to the A6 south of Shap, Cumbria. The project involved the removal of a flagged patio deck over the existing double garage and the integration of the new build into the existing building and its environment.
