The project brief was to erect a single-storey extension over an existing double garage, creating a first-floor lounge and sun room connected to the existing accommodation of a former school building near the A6 south of Shap, Cumbria. The project involved removing a flagged patio deck over the garage and seamlessly integrating the new build with the existing structure and its surroundings.
